Buying CBD oil in the UK
CBD oil is the most compared CBD format in the UK. Strengths vary from a few hundred to several thousand milligrams per bottle, so the bottle price alone tells you very little. Divide the price by the total CBD in mg to get the price per mg, then check how much CBD each drop or ml delivers.
Oils come in three extract types. Full spectrum keeps the wider range of hemp compounds within legal THC limits, broad spectrum removes THC, and isolate is CBD alone. The FSA's first recommended authorisations in September 2026 were all high purity isolates.
Before buying, check the product is linked to the FSA Public List, read the batch lab certificate, and work out milligrams per serving against the FSA's 10mg daily guidance.
